Types of Washing Machines

The company concentrates on producing side-loaded washers with a few top-loaded models. The top-loaded Electrolux washers are often chosen for their unique design - they are narrower than most of the side-loaded offers.

At the same time, there are several types of side-loaded machines that differ by the main characteristics like size, design, and functions:

• Standard full-size washers;
• Ultra-compact (up to 7 kg of laundry);
• 2-in-one machines: washer + dryer;
• In-build or integrated models.

Warranty and durability: all Electrolux washers have a 24-month warranty and last at least 10 years if used for home.

Recycling rate: 90% or higher.

Brand Story

The popular brand appeared after a successful merge of two solid European companies Lux AB and Svenska Elektron AB around a century ago. The first and the main Electrolux products that appeared at the European market were vacuum cleaners. However, later the company decided to enlarge range of the manufactured appliances, producing other electric household equipment, including washing machines.

Electrolux is known for purchasing lots of smaller brands and companies that helped the brand to become successful and known in many parts of the world. Such an approach also helped to get the best innovative technologies that resulted in producing high-quality appliances for different consumers.

The first Electrolux washing machine was produced almost 30 years after the company was founded in 1951 in Sweden. It was called the W20. The machine was appreciated for its durability and good quality.
